COVID-19: WHO Says Hydroxychloroquine Trials to Resume

New Delhi: The World Health Organization (WHO) will resume the clinical trial of hydroxychloroquine for potential use against the coronavirus.

It has been informed by WHO head Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Wednesday.

The WHO had suspended its large study of the anti-malarial drug to treat COVID-19 due to concerns it increased death rates and irregular heartbeats in patients.
