Bhubaneswar: In an unprecedented move in the history of Odisha, the Finance Bill for 2020-21 will be passed in the Convention center of the Odisha Lok Seva Bhavan. The decision to this regard was taken by the Speaker Surya Narayana Patra.
The decision comes after reporters came out that the Coronavirus infected third patient in Odisha had a history of visiting the Assembly premises.
The Budget will now be passed on the 30th March in the Convention Center of the Lok Seva Bhavan. The third person infected with the deadly virus is an employee of the state assembly. Hence, it has been decided to totally disinfect the assembly. Only 30 percent members of the Assembly will be present during the passing of the Budget.
